How to prepare and send us a file

General Information

We recommed using TIFF format which is the standard for most commercial and professional printing needs. It simplifies the whole process of production. This file type has proven to be advantageous to both the customer and Printdream for quality of output, ease of handling and processing, and efficiency of storage.

• Supply colour images in CMYK
• We would discourage you from using text applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Word) for large format printouts.
• A maximum input of 300 dpi is recommended
• When producing files all fonts must be embedded (especially for CDR)
• All jobs for print should be supplied electronically

If you are unclear of any of these points or have any other queries then please contact us for further details, it will save you time later and ensure that the job is exactly as you want it.

Please send clear instructions along with your own final proof for us to check against. In the absence of a proof we can only print what we assume to be the correct version. Please put your name on discs for our reference.

IMPORTANT!!!

File should be prepared in proper proportions (e.g. canvas 30 x 40 cm – file in a proportion of 3:4)

• EPS,

• Corel Draw (up to version 14),
• Adobe Photoshop,

1. Size up to 20 x 20 cm:     300 dpi - 600 dpi
2. Size up to 50 x 50 cm:     200 dpi - 300 dpi
3. Size up to 100 x 100 cm:  150 dpi - 300 dpi
4. Size up to 125 x 250 cm:  100 dpi - 200 dpi
5. Over 125 x 250 cm: up to 150 dpi

• Use our Orders & Quotation submission form
• Send documents by e-mail to: printdream@printdream.pl
• It is necessary to write into the subject the name of the customer and include description of the order.
• Send or deliver your file in person to one of our stores
• Send through FTP Server

Sending big files will require packing them – maximum size is 100Mb (ZIP format preferred)

Sending files via FTP server:
To send the file via FTP server you need FTP program, like Total Commander

Step 1
From the Main Menu choose Net  FTP Connect...
Step 2
In the window “Connect to ftp server” click New Connection...
Step 3
In the next window “FTP:connection details”, fill in the fields as shown on the below:

After filling in the details, click OK. New connection is added to the list.
When sending big files, please contact us and we’ll provide you with a login and password for our server copyland.com.pl

Step 4
In the window “Conect to ftp server”, choose copuland.com.pl from the list and click Connect.
The program will connect you with a server.
Step 5
Copy your file into agreed folder.
Step 6
When copying is finished, click Disconnect
